Flip Cup, flippy cup, tippy cup? as it is also know as, is a team game based on individual effort that revolves around group participation.
2 teams of equal size line up on the opposite sides of a table. One person from each team directly stands opposite each other.
Each player is equipped with a (standard issue) 16oz. Solo Cup, because 16oz Solo Cups are the Official Cups of Flip Cup.

| #1 | Referee's will fill up to the first horizontal line with beer (1/4 full) and puts their cup on the table in front of them. Once the cup has been filled, the player will not touch their cup until it is their turn to flip. |
| #2 | Play starts at the end of the table away from the referee with the first player from each team with their cup on the table in front of them and ends with the (ANCHOR) as the last flipper, next to the referee. |
| #3 | A referee will count 1-2-3-GO! or blow a whistle to start the round. |
| #4 | The starting members will grab their cups, toast each other, tap their beers down on the table and then commence drinking their beers and place their cup right side up on the edge of the table with the bottom hanging over the edge. |
| #5 | They they will attempt to FLIP their cup until it successfully lands upside down. |
| #6 | Once a player successfully lands their cup, then and only then can the next person on their team begin to touch and pickup their cup, drink their beer and attempt to FLIP their cup. |
| #7 | Play continues until a team has successfully drank their beer and FLIPPED their cups upside down, winning a game. |
